KUNDRI BHAJA. Kundri bhaja or ( tendli, kovakki) fry, Is a simple dish yet very tasty. It is best on days when you do not want have something very rich, rather you just want to have that plain , simple dal , steaming rice or roti, and a veg on the platter. Bengalis call this "kundrir bhaja". "Kundri" means Ivy gourds and " bhaja" means stir fry.
